I always wished there was!

IF SUM(MAT A)=SUM(MAT B)

It works for numbers (Mostly).

Is there a quick and efficient way to compare two arrays (assuming they are equally dimensioned) other than going line by line in a loop?
If not mat a$=b$
Does not seem to work
I can create a function of course, but looking for a good solution.

Thanks guys.

One more for FNSNAP.dll

FNARRAYS(mat one$, mat TWO$) will prove true if the arrays match -the result will be the number of elements in the array
FNARRAYSN(mat one, mat two) will prove true if the arrays match -the result will be the number of elements in the array

so we can do

If not fnarrays(mat A$,mat B$) then do something caused by unmatching character arrays
If not fnarraysn(mat A,mat B) then do something caused by unmatching numeric arrays

since the arrays are in memory the loop should be fairly quick
