During this years sessions, we will be covering using Ms-Office from within BR. Both MS-Excel & MS-Access will be covered.

I know that many of you use Open Office, and I am sure they have compatible solutions, but I don't have specific examples for Open Office.

I am asking attendees to install a copy of MS-Office on their systems:
Microsoft offers a few 60 day trial http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/
As long as you are downloading the trial, please download Microsoft Office Professional 2010.

This is a fairly large download, so it would be best to have this installed before the conference to avoid tying up the internet.

An interesting feature Microsoft offers users that are using trial versions

http://www.mytechguide.org/7947/microso ... 010-rearm/

This allows a trial version to be Re-armed up to 5 times

Luis, for those of us who DO have MS Office installed, is there a particular version that you need for your examples? (I am running 2007)

Also for Luis or anyone else who might know:
Do you have any knowledge about the ramifications of downloading a trial version (to uninstall later) if you already have another version on your system? Will uninstalling the trial (or letting the 60 day trial period lapse) mess up the original paid install?

I don't have Access on my computer, so I may need to download the entire trial version of Office Professional in order to get the Access component. It doesn't appear to be available alone.
