We have a File Browser... Why no Folder Browser?

As of 4.18 we have the ability to use a built in File browser to pick both a file to open and a file to save. Which is very nice. We no longer have to use an external app to do this.
I have two issues though with this...

We cannot use this to pick a folder... only a file...

We have to use a File Channel to do this... Because you have to use the Open statement to call the Browser, you must use an open file channel.
I know there are some outside utilites that let me pick these things... Heck I wrote one of them! But I want to get away from having to use those!
