Does anyone have a routine to get the number of pages in a PDF file?

I am using Epdf pagenumber, filename to print a PDF file page, but i need to print the entire document. THus i need to know how many pages in the document

I recall some talk of new PDF capabilities. At the upcoming conference will I learn how to make BR! fill in the answers on a PDF document and display it (in Acrobat or w/e) so that the user can review it and click print if all went well?

That would be AWESOME!

Or we're the PDF capabilities different and not capable of this?
