Wish List

I believe that the X in the upper right hand corner of the BR! splash screen should close BR! - not take you forward into BR!... both OK and Wait will already do that.
Does anyone disagree?

(Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the appropriate forum to discuss BR! feature/behavior/etc wishes)

oh one more wish I'd like to be in this thread:
the "WSID already in use" message that you get from launching two sessions of BR! too close together - it should backoff for a second or two and try again before it gives up and requires user interaction to bomb out. Ideally this message should never happen. Almost every time this happens to me I really want both sessions to launch.

sy -m dir
Wouldn't it be really nice if the system command with the -m (that's a little m meaning minimize to the system tray) would not shift the focus to the minimized process. I'm not sure if there is any reason or benefit from this happening.
But I do know as a user it interferes with my ability to work on another task while my focus is shifted and returned by the BR! process calling "system -m "...
In some cases this occurs quite a bit and totally screws with the user. However if there we're a failure during one of these shell calls a called technecian would need to be able to restore the window to see what happened... thus -m instead of -M.
Just some thoughts on a possible enhancement - I thought I'd throw the idea out here on the wish list and see if any one had any reasonable objections to the suggestion.

You can by setting a MIN FONSTIZE and then making sure your Window Fontsize exceeds it.

oh i do indeed love min_fontsize... it makes those vertical and horizontal scroll bars when the font gets too small...
anyone who isn't using a min_fontsize in their brconfig.sys should definately check them out. marvelous feature...
on the wish list subject a max_fontsize which applies to grids would be pretty sweet.

Can you elaborate on what this MAX_FONTSIZE would do?

Individual Cells, Columns, rows?? How would you want it to differentiate? I would guess if you had matrix that matched the Grid and just put the tooltip for specific cells in the Grid that would be cool. But also would be nice if a whole column could be defined..
