In BR 4.20c, I've noticed that the built-in BR editor no longer checks for duplicate line labels as you are editing, but only when you try to save the program (when you get err 1005). Is that by design? And if so, what's the thinking behind it?
Prior versions of BR would snag that error at the time you are editing, rather than only upon program save.
It's by design. It was discussed briefly at the Spring conference. I believe the rational was to allow an easier interface with external editors that were causeing import interupts when a label was moved.
