Windows 7 Network Share Tip

Sometimes, when attempting to run BR, especially old versions, on a network share under Windows 7, BR crashes with the error "The Application Failed to Start".

One solution to this problem that I have found helpful, is to copy BR to the local machine in its own folder somewhere. Place a copy of the BR serial, wbconfig.sys, and any wbconfig.sys dependencies into this folder. Then make sure your wbconfig.sys drive statements still point to the proper network location. They should, since it was working before.

Then run BR. Your programs don't even know BR is in a different location then usual, and they continue to run like always.
