LEN(<string>)

The Len(string$) internal function returns the number of characters in variable string$.

00010 LET A$ = "red"
00020 LET B$ = "white "
00030 LET C$ = "blue"
00040 PRINT LEN(A$);LEN(B$);LEN(C$)

Line 40 will print the numbers 3, 6 and 4.
